Monty Python’s Total Rubbish heißt die neue neun LPs umfassende Box.
Das Set soll im Juli erscheinen wenn die Live-Auftritte der Comedy-Truppe in London enden.
Das Box-Set besteht aus allen neun Monty Python Alben, die in Großbritannien erschienen sind: “Monty Python’s Flying Circus”, “Another Monty Python Record”, “Monty Python’s Previous Record”, “Matching Tie and Handkerchief”, “Live at Drury Lane”, “Holy Grail”, “Life of Brian”, “Monty Python’s Contractual Obligation Album” and “The Meaning Of Life”.
Außerdem ist eine Bonus-7″ von ihrer Flexi-Disc aus dem Jahr 1974 dabei. Diese nennt sich “Monty Python’s Tiny Black Round Thing”.
Das Set Monty Python’s Total Rubbish kommt außerdem als neun CDs umfassende Ausgabe mit einer 7″.
Die Alben erhielten ein analoges Signal vom Original Master. Zumindest soweit möglich. Beide Ausgaben kommen mit einem Buch, das neue Liner Notes enthält zusammen mit einem Vorwort von Michael Palin, Original-Monty-Python-Artwork, Archive-Fotos und von Terry Gilliam gestaltetes farbiges Slipcase.
