“There’s no easy way or right moment to announce something like this, so here it comes: Chai has decided to no longer be an active part of Jesus On Extasy. I understand his reasons which are very personal, fully support his decision and wish him nothing but the best on his personal & creative journey.
But brother, believe me when I say: you’ll always be a part of this band. Our shared musical DNA runs through our music and way beyond. Be it the countless stages we’ve shared, the endless hours on the road and in the studio and all the craziness behind and sometimes in front of the scenes – together we achieved more than we ever dared to dream. No one can take that away from us. And if you decide you want to come back at the some point in any way, shape or form, the door will be open.
We’ve recorded a lot of incredible new music together, so even in absence your presence will reverberate through our music, like a distorted echo from the past. I will carry on doing what we started almost 19 years ago. Our music will be heard.
Take care & see you soon
DD”
