News – Am 28. Juli 2017 wird von Cindy und Carlos Santana sowie den Isley Brothers das Album „Power of Peace“ über Sony Music erscheinen. Zusammen nahmen die Isley Brothers, Ronald und Ernie, sowie das Santana-Ehepaar Cindy und Carlos das Cover-Album „Power of Peace“ auf.
Auf “Power Of Peace” befinden sich Songs von unter anderem Chambers Brothers (“Are You Ready,” “Love, Peace, Happiness”), Stevie Wonder (“Higher Ground”), Billie Holiday (“God Bless the Child”), Curtis Mayfield (“Gypsy Woman”), Muddy Waters und Willie Dixon (“I Just Want to Make Love to You”), Marvin Gaye (“Mercy Mercy Me – The Ecology”) sowie Sy Miller und Jill Jackson (“Let There Be Peace on Earth”).
Als Bonus gibt es das brandneue Stück „I Remember“, das von Cindy Blackman Santana sowohl geschrieben als auch eingesungen wurde. Über die gemeinsame Zeit mit den Isley Brothers erzählt Carlos Santana: „Ronnie ist seit 1962 und seiner Beatles-Neu-Interpretation von „Twist And Shout“ jeder Radiostation rund um den Globus ein Begriff.
