Newsflash (Erasure, Ensiferum, Eskimo Callboy)

In dem heutigen Newsflash gibt es News zu Erasure mit ihrem neuen Album, gleiches gilt für die Metal-Band Ensiferum und bei Eskimo Callboy gibt es einen Sänger.

+++ Das Synth-Pop-Duo Erasure, bestehend aus Andy Bell und Vince Clarke, melden sich nach ihrem 2018er-Album World Beyond zurück. Das Lebenszeichen ist eine Single namens Hey Now (Think I Got A Feeling) vom neuen Album The Neon. Letzteres erscheint via Mute am 21. August 2020.

+++ Ensiferum kündigen derweil ihr neues Album Thalassic via Metal Blade Records an und wollen am 10. Juli 2020, dem Veröffentlichungstag, eine Studio Live betitelte Release Show spielen. Außerdem vermelden die Metaller ein Video zu Rum, Women, Victory.

Even though we are not the most hip/state of the art/IT-know-how-expert-band when it comes to creating content, other than music, it was such a great experience to do this video. But absolutely the best thing of this video project was to see how much fun you guys had with the new song and how you all gave 110% for it! +++ Eskimo Callboy, aktuell bei Century Media Records, haben kürzlich einen neuen Sänger bekanntgegeben. Sein Name ist Nico Sallach und ist dem einen oder anderen von To the Rats and Wolves bekannt. Er ist das sechste Bandmitglied.

Kevin comments: „Here we go! We are more than happy to welcome Nico as our new singer. The last couple of weeks we worked together day and night to lead Eskimo Callboy into a new chapter. We totally love the new songs, and it feels so naturally good to work as a whole again.“

Nico says: „I‘m so happy to be part of the EC family now and I can‘t wait to give my very best for this band. We worked hard for the new EP and we had the best times doing so… More than excited when we can finally release our new songs!“

Eskimo Callboy gaben das in einem Introduction Video bekannt und außerdem gibt es dort einen ersten Eindruck vom neuen Material. Eine EP soll im September erscheinen.
